IT Systems Admin

Responsibilities: Acts as the IT advisor to a specific business line or multiple business lines ensuring they have the correct/best technologies in place to achieve their business objectives. Investigates and troubleshoots IT problems, recommends configurations of computer hardware and software systems, and manages and implements IT technology deployments. Coordinates and supports all IT related activities and initiatives for a specific business line, multiple business lines or business lines located at numerous different geographic locations. Works with the business lines to plan, support and implement desktop initiatives and projects. Thorough understanding of business processes and requirements to effectively be able to apply existing and emerging technologies to business problems to create practical solutions and efficiency opportunities. Educate, train and provide technical expertise in the use of IT tools as they relate to the business lines. Keep current with new developments in the IT field, focusing on specific needs of the business lines. Works with all other areas of IT, including the Help Desk, Security, Telecom and development teams, to assure that IT standards are being followed to establish a secure computer environment for the business and that IT delivered solutions, applications and services are meeting the business requirements. Provides 7 x 24 second level IT support to their supported business lines. QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, Mathematics or other computer related degree from an accredited college or university required. Consideration may be given to candidates with extensive related experience without the academic requirements. Three or more years of directly related IT experiencerequired. Knowledge of PC/workstation HW & SW. IT environment/network knowledge.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
